The G21 is a further development of parallel-passive G14 equation system. The parallel topology allows multiband control without the traditional problems, such as phase problem in recombination. Since the bands are not split, but all frequencies are treated in parallel, the spike/peak phase is changed first, and then actually clipped if the overall signal does not fall below the threshold by changing the phase.

Note: The G21 is supplied as standard with a mains voltage of 230V – If 115V is required, please specify when ordering.

Multiband Clipper

In addition to the three overload bands, there is an overall overload control that can be set to “white” (linear), “pink” (-3dB/oct.) or “red” (-5dB/oct.), allowing a gradual lowering of the threshold at higher frequencies.

Essentially, the passive design maintains complete control and predictability in the clipping process, strengthening signal integrity as much as possible.

The band “bypass” switches are relay controlled, as is the global “bypass,” completely bypassing the unit. In addition, the G21 offers high-pass filtering optionally at 25 or 35 Hz with a slope of 18dB/oct.
