The CK-6 Classic in its normal standard version uses high quality polystyrene and metallized polypropylene capacitors in the audio path. These quality requirements are normally set by microphone modders/hot-rodders. The microphone is perfectly suited for instrumental and vocal miking.

CONDENSER MICROPHONE
The CK-6 Classic is made from the finest materials and accordingly has excellent signal integrity. The versatile microphone is capable of producing professional results with a clean sound character.
The included SSM Shockmount allows for precise positioning of the microphone while preventing unwanted vibrations from being transmitted into the microphone. The CK-6 features separate switches for a -10dB attenuation and an 80Hz high-pass filter. The -10dB attenuation switch can be activated when miking sources with very high sound pressure levels to prevent overloading the electronics. The 80Hz high-pass filter prevents unwanted low frequencies in the recording.
