Kick Drum Microphone
The DM-1B is a large diaphragm condenser microphone designed for miking bass drums. With the -15dB pad switched on, it can pick up sound pressure levels of up to 155dB without distorting. Besides kick drum recordings it can also achieve impressive results with bass amps.

For miking complete drum sets, this microphone works perfectly in combination with the snare microphone DM-1S, the tom microphone DM-1T and the STC-10 as overhead microphones.
