The Van Damme Pro-Patch midi cable from the Pro Grade Classic series is particularly robust with 5-pin MIDI connectors from Neutrik / REAN, which are made of cast metal. It is the ideal cable for all MIDI applications that do not require phantom power.
Tightly packed cotton fillers under the outer jacket prevent static charges. The small diameter and design allow a particularly high degree of flexibility and elasticity for cabling in the rack. This also allows the cable to be rolled up easily.
Each Van Damme XKE Pro patch is made in England with great care and without compromise. You can be sure that it will provide the best possible signal flow for years to come. The cable can be used for analog balanced audio with microphone and line level. It is ideal for bantam patch cables and adapter cables, shorter microphone cables and XLR splitter cables, MIDI cables and other DIN connection applications. The braided screen with 95% optical coverage has excellent mechanical strength and suppression against electromagnetic interference (EMI), as well as radio frequency interference (RFI).
The Classic XKE Pro Patch is specifically designed as a 4.85mm overall diameter cable for Neutrik and Switchcraft Bantam jacks and other applications where a cable with a smaller outer diameter is required. The braided screen and tightly packed construction ensure that the smaller diameter does not compromise mechanical and sonic integrity in any way.
