The Van Damme 75 Ohm coaxial cable from the Plasma series has been developed for digital audio and video transmission and is used by Abbey Road Studios London and the BBC, among others. In addition to the cable itself, the REAN by Neutrik phono plugs are also of particularly high quality and robust.

The Van Damme Digi Grade 75 Ohm Plasma Series cable is a high-resolution coax cable designed for use with analog video signals. Precision performance is combined with flexibility normally only found in very high quality microphone cables. This results in an excellent digital cable for dynamic use in the broadcast, video and presentation markets.

Habe die Kabel auf Empfehlung vom Kundenservice mit bestellt, um es gegen meine Voxox excelsus zu testen. Ich habe nach einem kurzem Spdif Kabel gesucht um meine zwei überliegenden Wandler im Rack zu verbinden. Optisch machen die Van Damme Kabel nicht so viel her wie das Voxox excelsus. Man merkt jedoch sofort, dass es sich bei Material und Verarbeitung um ein hochwertiges Kabel handeln soll. Klanglich unterscheidet sich aus meiner Sicht das Van Damme vom Voxox Kabel im oberen Frequenzspektrum. Anfangs etwas enttäuscht, bin ich nun jedoch überzeugt, dass das Van Damme Kabel “linearer klingt” bzw. das Vovox etwas dem SIgnal hinzufügt. Schwer zu beschreiben und am Ende sicher eine Geschmackssache.
