The Double MS Windshield Set PIANO is designed to provide precise, high-resolution MS miking. The three microphones CMIT 5, CCM 8 and CCM 4 are housed in a robust wind basket. The set can be assembled in a few simple steps and contains all the necessary components for recording, including fur and cabling.

The CMIT 5 defined a new standard in shotgun microphones right from the start. Its bundling increases particularly evenly with frequency, resulting in an unusually balanced sound character. Furthermore, the level decreases laterally from the 0° axis particularly smoothly and independent of frequency. As a result, localized events can also be recorded here in a sound-neutral manner, and small errors in angling are forgiven. The CMIT 5 bundles more than you would expect from a microphone of its length. It is also used for music recordings, e.g. in opera, when a stronger directivity is required (e.g. in case of spatial confinement).
The CCM series from Schoeps consists of compact studio microphones with accessories. The microphone capsule and miniaturized electronics are built into a compact housing. The capsule and amplifier are firmly connected. It is particularly popular wherever small size plays a decisive role, e.g. on the fishing line, in the conference area and in multi-channel arrangements. The CCM series is in no way inferior to the microphones of the Colette series: their acoustic transducers (capsules) are identical and the electronics have equally good characteristics.
