iConnectivity PlayAUDIO1U | USB Live Playback Audio- & MIDI-Interface

PlayAUDIO1U was developed to support live performances at a professional level. It’s a cleverly designed, fail-safe and tour-ready interface that offers first-class audio output and comprehensive MIDI connectivity for any performance. It’s perfect for controlling and playing backing tracks, virtual instruments and almost anything else you would use a computer for live.

PlayAUDIO1U makes every show fail-safe by utilizing iConnectivity’s famous multi-computer redundancy. It “listens” to your software and automatically switches between the computers in the event of problems, quickly and inaudibly. It does this by listening to either (or both) MIDI or audio from the connected computers.

PlayAUDIO1U offers a new kind of protection for every performance. It can not only check for software or computer errors, but also for audio streams,
coming from the computer. At the slightest indication of an audio problem, it can mute the sound at the main outputs and provide diagnostic information via the display. This protects everyone involved from bad audio signals, noise, etc. entering the PA system, monitors, etc. via the outputs.

iConnectivity have been world leaders and innovators in MIDI connectivity for years and  have put all their MIDI know-how into the PlayAUDIO1U for live performances. PlayAUDIO1U can be used as the main MIDI manager for live performances: External devices are integrated via 5-pin MIDI-Din, USB host connection or via network using RTP-MIDI.
