SPL PQ | Parametric Mastering EQ – All Black
6.399€

- Mastering Equalizer
- 5 fully parametric bands
- Constant & proportional Q
- 120V-Technology
The PQ from SPL is a fully parametric equalizer with five bands per channel and has a special EQ sound thanks to the 120V technology.
The equalizer is designed as a completely separate dual-mono, two-channel EQ and enables two mono signals to be processed separately.
However, both sides can also be linked via a link switch to control a stereo signal together via one side.
- Maximum input and output level: 32,5dBu
- Input impedance: 20kΩ
- Output Impedance: 75Ω
- Common mode rejection (0dBu, 1kHz: >80dBu
- Frequency response (-3dB): 10Hz – 40kHz
- Crosstalk (1kHz): -108dBu
- THD + N (+10dBu): 0,002%
- Noise (A-weighted): -98dBu

Mastering Equalizer
The frequency bands can be switched on and off individually using the button below and offer the option of switching between constant Q and proportional Q using the blue button.
In constant Q mode, the Q factor remains the same regardless of the amplitude.
This setting is useful for removing interfering frequencies.
If Proportional-Q is selected, the Q factor is proportional to the amplitude, i.e. the higher the amplitude, the smaller the bandwidth.
With the smallest bandwidth setting, the signal to be processed can be raised or lowered by a maximum of +/-20 dB; with the largest setting, by a maximum of +/-2.8 dB.
This behavior makes it possible to achieve a very musical result.
The Q factor ranges from 0.6 to 15.
Each filter band has a maximum level change of +/- 20 dB.
If you want to make finer gain settings, the grid can be switched to ¼.
This is particularly predestined for mastering applications.
In this case, the maximum boost or cut is reduced to 5 dB.
The frequency distribution of the bands is selected so that individual frequencies can be processed with several bands.
The LF works at 10-330 Hz, the LMF at 33Hz – 1kHz, the MF at 128Hz – 2.1kHz, the MHF at 210Hz – 10.2kHz and the HF at 760Hz – 24kHz.
The PQ has an auto bypass to compare the original signal and the processed signal.
This automatically switches between the two signals so that you can focus on listening.
The switching time window is set via the Interval potentiometer.
If a channel button is pressed until it flashes, the respective side is set for stereo processing.
The entire channel can be muted by briefly pressing the channel button
