The Van Damme Super Purple series is a low-smoke, halogen-free version of the proven Van Damme Super Green series for the installation market. Available in 1-pair and 4 and 8-pair multicore versions, this cable series offers a solution for the transmission of 96 KHz AES/EBU digital audio over long distances – over 150 metres without active equalisation. It is also suitable for long analogue audio runs and all critical balanced data signals requiring low capacitance.

Long-distance transmission of AES/EBU digital audio signals. Installation in public buildings, schools and colleges, government buildings and ships. Cabling of equipment racks for which LSZH materials have been specified. All 100 to 110 ohm balanced data applications such as RS422, RS485, DMX512 and time code. Electrically designed to carry 96KHz digital audio signals over long distances – 150 metres without equalisation is well within the cable’s capability.
