The Van Damme Blue Series Studio Grade DB25 Sub-D cable has been specially developed for professional audio applications where reliable, high-quality signal transmission is essential. With its 8-channel, balanced and sonically transparent audio transmission, it is ideal for use in recording studios and broadcast environments. The cable consists of the renowned Van Damme Blue Series multicore cable, which is valued for its flexibility and durability. The robust DB25 connectors have nickel-plated housings and silver-plated contacts. Each cable is handmade and can therefore be individually adapted to specific requirements. ABBEY ROAD MULTICORE CABLE
STUDIO & BROADCAST
Abbey Road Studios, renowned for its outstanding acoustics and historical significance, has relied on the quality of Van Damme cables for many years. Abbey Road Studios and Van Damme have been working closely together since 1988, with the cables being used in several renovation phases of Studios 1, 2 and 3.
Extensive refurbishments were carried out in 2017, including the construction of a Dolby Atmos film soundtrack studio called “The Mix Stage”, the creation of two new recording areas for pop/rock and the integration of two new isolation booths in Studio 2. The Van Damme Blue Series was used throughout for the analog audio signal paths, while the Van Damme Digitour Multicore was used for AES/EBU digital audio signals and the HD Vision Flexible Coax for HD digital video connections.
These measures underline Abbey Road Studios’ confidence in the reliability and performance of Van Damme cables, particularly the Blue Series, for demanding audio applications.
