The Upton Microphones C12 Multi-Pattern Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone is based on the classic AKG C12, which was produced by AKG from 1960 to 1965. The original C12 is considered one of the best microphones ever made and is suitable for many recording applications. The Upton C12 features point-to-point cabling, the Upton CK12 capsule and a choice of the T14 transformer or the slightly larger version of this transformer.
