The high-end microphone has a CK12 capsule, which allows a cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-of-eight polar pattern. The tube used is a 6072A, which together with a Haufe T14/1 output transformer provides a warm sound and present sound. The choice of modern components allows for tighter tolerances, better current handling and lower self-noise than the vintage counterpart. The amplifier circuit with the vacuum tube and output transformer is housed in a molded plastic enclosure, while the capsule is suspended in the basket above the polar pattern switch.
