To monitor surround and immersive audio, you need a controller with enough inputs. With the MC16, SPL offers a mastering monitor controller to which a total of 16 speakers can be connected. This makes it possible to realize different playback modes, such as Dolby Atmos or Auro 3D. The MC16 works with 120V technology.

Mastering Monitor Controller
On the left side of the front panel, a total of 16 buttons are arranged in 2 rows. These buttons are used to activate individual channels and also have the function of entering an exact designation of the speaker.
The MC has two input sources, each with 16 channels. The buttons in the center can be used to switch between the two input channels. The first 8 channels of input 1 are XLR, the other 8 are D-Sub. Input two can be assigned via D-Sub connectors (2 pieces with 8 inputs each).
The overall volume can be controlled via “Monitor Level”. The potentiometer is analog. This avoids resolution deficits or a lack of dynamic range.
Thanks to the preset buttons, three speaker configurations can be stored. The Solo button allows three additional configurations to be saved via the preset buttons. Here, for example, front speakers or surround speakers can be created as solo groups.
