SPL Audio DMC

On the front panel are all parameters and settings for the inputs on the left side, and for the outputs on the right side.
There are 8 stereo inputs in total, which are XLR sockets. Four of them are used for sources (Sources), which are intended for comparing audio material. The other four stereo inputs are used for audio that is to be processed. Each input can be switched on and off, phase rotated and levelled in 0.25 dB steps. In addition, it is possible to monitor each of the 8 inputs in mono. The large “Recording Gain” pot can be used to sensitively change the volume of the signal. If it is not used, it should be deactivated via the corresponding button to remove it from the signal path.

Three speaker pairs, a mono speaker and a subwoofer can be connected to the DMC. Via the Phonitor HP Out, the signal is passed on to a headphone amplifier. Optionally, it can be programmed that speakers are automatically switched off in headphone mode. It can also be programmed that the subwoofer is only activated with certain monitor pairs. To compensate for a level difference after the insert chain, the insert return can be corrected in 0.25 dB steps.

Via the monitoring section, each speaker channel can be monitored solo and phase rotated. Volume compensation in the range of +/-10 dB can also be performed. Alternatively, it can be linked to the Insert, Sources or Input switches. Further buttons allow muting or mono switching.
