All parameters and settings for the inputs are on the left-hand side of the front panel, while the outputs are on the right-hand side.
There are a total of 8 stereo inputs, which are designed as XLR sockets. Four of these are used for sources, which are intended for comparing audio material. The other four stereo inputs are used for audio that is to be processed. Each input can be switched on and off, rotated in phase and leveled in 0.25 dB steps. It is also possible to monitor each of the 8 inputs in mono. The volume of the signal can be finely adjusted using the large “Recording Gain” potentiometer. If it is not used, it should be deactivated using the corresponding button to remove it from the signal path.

Three pairs of speakers, a mono speaker and a subwoofer can be connected to the DMC. The signal is passed on to a headphone amplifier via the Phonitor HP Out. Optionally, speakers can be programmed to switch off automatically in headphone mode. It can also be programmed so that the subwoofer is only activated with certain monitor pairs. To compensate for a level difference after the insert chain, the insert return can be corrected in 0.25 dB steps.

The monitoring section can be used to monitor each speaker channel individually and rotate the phase. Volume compensation in the range of +/-10 dB can also be carried out. Alternatively, it can be linked to the Insert, Sources or Input switches. Additional buttons allow mute or mono switching.
