The BiG from SPL Audio is a 500 module for enlarging the stereo image.
The double-slot module is used to process the stereo stage and is equipped with three controls (Range, Stage, Bigness) and a switchable passive filter for a bass boost.

Stereo Magnification
The Image Shaper is operated via the three parameters RANGE, STAGE and BIGNESS:
The RANGE control is used to select the frequency range to be processed. STAGE moves the frequency range selected with the RANGE control to the back or front of the stereo stage. Finally, the intensity of the STEREO IMAGE SHAPING is set with the large BIGNESS control.
The BASS switch is installed as an additional function. If this is activated, a bass boost downstream of the BIGNESS section is activated. The bass boost is generated by a passive filter that is implemented in a circuit similar to that used in the AirBass function of the SPL IRON Mastering Compressor.
The module also has a bypass switch. Signal LEDs indicate levels from -20dBu.
