Whether on stage, in the studio or in a stream – the Launcher gives ordinary dynamic microphones and interfaces authentic analogue sound characteristics. Unlike other microphone preamps, the Launcher does not focus exclusively on transparency and cleanliness, which can seem clinical in some circumstances: It optimises the sound of the source, reduces audible noise in the signal chain and raises the gain by 26 dB.
With the Launcher, even conventional microphones sound as if they are running through a vintage console, even when connected to a simple interface or PA system. The launcher is hand-finished and suitable for dynamic and ribbon microphones.
