The recording of voices for radio and podcasting poses particular challenges for the technology used. With the Podcast Pro, Sontronics presents a microphone that has been specially developed for these applications. It enables excellent sound results with little effort.

Podcast Microphone
The Sontronics Podcast Pro was developed and optimized for use as a speech and vocal microphone for podcasting, radio, gaming and voice recording. Thanks to its highly focused supercardioid polar pattern, noise coming from the side is kept away from the recording.
To capture speech with the best clarity, the microphone has an integrated filter to suppress disturbing background noise. In addition, a fine-mesh pop filter reduces air noises that occur when pronouncing certain sounds. This enables particularly clean voice recording without additional equipment.
The supplied mounting bracket allows the Podcast Pro to be easily attached to a floor or table stand and perfectly aligned with the speaker. The microphone is connected via an XLR plug.
