The Sontronics Mercury is a tube microphone equipped with the highest quality components and handmade. It is produced in England.
It provides an extremely accurate recording of vocals and instruments, making it versatile.
The microphone was developed with artists and producers such as Paul Epworth (including Adele, Coldplay, U2) and Gary Barlow (Take That). Several engineers from Abbey Road Studios also influenced the creation with their feedback.

Multi-Pattern Tube microphone
The polar pattern can be continuously adjusted from omnidirectional to figure-of-eight on the power supply. The power supply also offers the option of reducing the signal by -10dB via the pad switch and setting a low cut at 75Hz.
The components used have a manufacturing tolerance of less than 1%. The excellent technical values speak for themselves: Under 12dBA self-noise at a sensitivity of 18mV/PA combined with a hand-selected 12AT7/ECC81 vacuum tube guarantee an outstanding sound.
