The sound of classic Rupert Neve Designs studio microphone preamps is now available on your Dante network.
For the past decade, the world’s leading live sound engineers have chosen Rupert Neve Designs as one of the analog devices to accompany their digital touring rigs.
With mastering-quality 24-bit 192kHz converters and full Dante integration, the RMP-D8 finally offers the live sound world something that studios have always coveted: the sound of Rupert Neve Designs.
While converters in combination devices are often an afterthought, the 24-bit/192 kHz converters in the RMP-D8 are the result of years of careful work.
At the heart of the RMP-D8 are the modular microphone preamplifier cards with transformers developed by Rupert Neve.
Unlike other Dante integrated microphone preamps that rely primarily on a single IC for gain and tone, the RMP-D8 features eight fully realized Class A microphone preamps that feed eight custom audio transformers and maintain the high standards of Rupert Neve Designs’ standalone preamps.
Precision-controlled internal clocking and improved jitter reduction allow the full power range of the microphone preamps or line inputs to be captured; with the RMP-D8 there is no weak link in the audio path.

DANTE NETWORK
Dante audio networks use standard IP networks to transmit high-quality, uncompressed audio data with near-zero latency.
It is the most flexible, reliable and easy-to-manage audio networking solution on the market and offers the lowest cost of ownership by dramatically reducing cabling and labor costs.
Dante is chosen by almost all professional audio manufacturers, making it the industry standard for digital audio networks.
The RMP-D8 is also fully DDM (Dante Domain Manager) ready.
