In terms of power, the R6 provides more than 150% of the required current for a 6-space enclosure to prevent the power rails from failing at a higher than expected load. To facilitate monitoring and troubleshooting of problematic modules, the R6 is equipped with an LED power indicator that shows how much power is being consumed. The internal power supply itself has been carefully designed and double shielded to avoid significant magnetic induction in any of the channel positions. Thanks to this care in providing and monitoring the power supply, the R6 allows your modules to reach their full potential.
To ensure many years of use, the housing is made of solid steel and fitted with bumpers that support the device in both horizontal and vertical configurations. All connections and joints are of the highest quality.

FLEXIBLE CONNECT
With an abundance of connections, the R6 backpanel is practically a patchbay in itself. The R6 has 8 channels of balanced I/O options, including DB-25, XLR and TRS, which are interchangeable. This versatility is especially handy if you’re taking the R6 to a different environment where you’re not sure what cables are available, or if you want to convert DB-25, XLR or TRS connections to a different format using the THRU functionality on channels 7-8.
SIX HIGH-PERFORMANCE CARD SLOTS
Each card slot is designed to accommodate a standard 500 series module.
Even with modules that exceed the specification of the 500 series, the R6 has sufficient power reserves to maintain the voltage.
LINK JUMPER
There are three link jumpers that can be set individually to enable linking on channels 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6.
The link function is generally used to link the gain reduction of two compressors (e.g. our 543 or 535 modules).
POWER METER
An LED display monitors the power consumption of the R6 to ensure that you never run out of power.
This meter can also be useful when troubleshooting a module that is running way over its allotment.
+48V PHANTOM POWER
The R6’s robust 48 V phantom power supplies your microphones with rock-solid phantom power.
WIDE RANGE OF CONNECTION OPTIONS
The interchangeable XLR, TRS and DB-25 I/O connectors ensure that you can connect anywhere.
CHANNEL 7-8 THRU I/O
The Channel 7-8 Thru connectors allow you to quickly and easily convert your signal from or to DB-25, XLR and TRS connectors.
ROAD-TAUGH FRAME
A solid steel housing, two sets of sturdy rubber feet for horizontal and vertical mounting and a foldable handle make the R6 completely portable and ready for use on the road.
UNIVERSAL VOLTAGE IEC INPUT
The IEC mains input is suitable for 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz and has a power consumption of 50 watts.
