Due to their design, condenser microphones are more susceptible to plosive noise than dynamic or ribbon microphones. Strong blasts of air hitting the microphone capsule can push the diaphragm against the backplate, causing the unwanted “pop” noise. The 22 251 Pop Filter deflects these air blasts, prevents popping noises and protects the capsule from moisture. This prevents the build-up of residue on the capsule in the long term.
The Vintage Pop Filter, specially developed for the Peluso 22 251 microphone, has an attractive nickel surface and effectively reduces unwanted plosive noise.
The filter can be attached to any microphone body with a diameter of 52 mm (+/- 1 mm).
