The MOTU 828ES is a state-of-the-art audio interface with optional support for AVB networks.
The ESS Sabre32 Ultra AD/DA chips, which are normally found in much higher-priced interfaces, offer a resolution of 24 bits and a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz.

The Motu 828ES can be expanded with additional 828ES or other devices from the MOTU AVB series.
If the 60 channels of the 828ES are not enough or you need more PreAmps, you can expand to up to 512 audio channels.

The DSP mixer, whose interface is operated via an Internet browser or the MOTU app (iOS + macOS), offers extensive routing options, including virtual inputs and outputs.

Each microphone channel has individual pre-amplification, a pad, 48 V phantom power and digital remote control.
Do you work with outboard EQs and compressors?
Each 828es mic input provides a pre-converter and a hardwired send for mono or stereo mic channel outboard processing.

MONITOR & ROOM CONTROL

With the built-in talkback microphone and the talk button on the front, you are in control of your recording sessions.
Connect two sets of speakers and check your sound mixes with the A/B speaker selection buttons on the front.
