The MOTU 828ES is a state-of-the-art audio interface with optional support for AVB networks. The ESS Sabre32 Ultra AD/DA chips, which are otherwise found in much higher priced interfaces, offer 24-bit resolution and a sampling rate up to a maximum of 192 kHz.
The Motu 828ES can be expanded with further 828ES or other devices of the MOTU AVB series. If the 60 channels of the 828ES are not enough or if you need more PreAmps, you can expand up to 512 audio channels.
The DSP Mixer, whose interface is operated via an Internet browser or the MOTU App (iOS + macOS), offers extensive routing options up to virtual outputs and inputs.

NEW PREAMP DESIGN
Record your recorded material in its most natural form with -108dB THD+N, 118dB Dynamic Range and -128dBu EIN performance. Each mic channel has individual preamp gain, pad, 48V phantom power, and digital remote control. Are you working with outboard EQs and compressors? Each 828es mic input provides a preamp and hardwired send for mono or stereo mic channel outboard processing.
MONITOR & ROOM CONTROL
The built-in talkback microphone and front panel talk button put you in control of your recording sessions. Connect two sets of speakers and check your sound mixes with the A/B speaker selector buttons on the front panel.
