Lindell Audio WL-3 | Channelstrip

With the WL-3 Lindell Audio brings an analog console channel strip with preamp, compressor and EQ. In addition to the Carnhill transducers manufactured in England, further manufacturing in Europe uses only high quality components and is equipped with an 8mm aluminum front panel. This module was designed by mastermind Paul Wolff, who has designed more legendary gear than most of us have used, in collaboration with Lindell Audio. In his time at API alone, Paul Wolff designed the 550B EQ, the 512 and 3124 mic preamps, the Legacy console, and the 2500 compressor. He was recognized by the NAMM TEC Hall of Fame for inventing the lunchbox and the 500 Series format. The preamp features a transformer-coupled mic and line input that can boost up to 65dB. As well as an 80Hz low cut, +48V phantom power and polarity reversal are also built in. The VCA compressor is equipped with threshold, audio gain make-up, gain and a mix control for parallel compression. For frequency processing, there is a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mids at 900Hz to 5kHz with +/-10dB. Low and high bands can also be boosted or cut by 10dB at a fixed frequency. In addition, the module has a 60mm fader at the output.
