The Lake People Phone-Amp G103-S MKII is a stereophonic headphone amplifier that has been specially developed for professional use in the recording studio or on stage.
In contrast to comparable models, the G103-S MKII allows the overall amplification to be adapted to the headphones used via internal jumpers.
This means that the headphone amplifier can be operated with a wide range of headphone impedances from 8 to 600 ohms.
Thanks to its optimized, low-distortion and low-noise circuit technology, the Lake People G103-S MKII meets even the highest demands.
Despite its small dimensions, the G103-S MKII offers optimum flexibility and performance.
The design places particular emphasis on operational safety in the event of operating errors and rough handling.
The device is absolutely short-circuit proof, which guarantees additional safety.

TECHNICAL BRILLANZ
The G103-S MKII has internal filters that protect the connected headphones from being overloaded by inaudible low and high frequencies.
The housing of the G103-S MKII is made of black anodized aluminium, which ensures high mechanical stability and resistance to harsh environmental influences.
The high electrical conductivity of the surfaces also ensures excellent EMC properties.
Power is supplied via a three-pin IEC/CEE socket and an associated “cold appliance” mains cable with Schuko plug.
The device is designed for a mains voltage of 230 V.
The “POWER” switch is located on the front panel and the switched-on status is indicated by a green LED under the “POWER” switch.
Two permanently short-circuit-proof transformers generate the internal operating voltages of around +/- 25 V.
Like all Lake People headphone amplifiers, the G103 Mk II follows our technical guidelines, which in combination are unique:
- Lowest noise
due to low internal amplification.
This means that inherent noise is usually not audible. - Highest output voltage
due to a high internal operating voltage, which is higher than 90% of all headphone amplifiers on the market.
This makes it ideal for high-impedance headphones. - Powerful output power
thanks to powerful output stages that can deliver significantly more current than headphones need.
This makes it ideal for low-impedance headphones. - Highest attenuation factor
due to lowest output impedance.
This provides the best control over critical headphones and guarantees linear transmission. - PRE-GAIN
5-way adjustable amplification for optimum adaptation to all sources and all headphones.
