Golden Age Audio Project PRE-73 DLX MKII | Preamp

The PRE-73 DLX MKII is a single-channel microphone, line and instrument preamplifier in vintage style.
The signal path uses only discrete components such as resistors, capacitors and transistors.
The line and microphone input as well as the line output are transformer-balanced, using three different transformers, each optimized for its purpose.

The circuitry used in the PRE-73 DLX MKII is similar to the preamp section of the classic 1073 module with a corresponding sound character that is warm, punchy and musical.
These classic characteristics have been heard on countless recordings over the years and the versatile sound means it works very well with most sound sources in most genres.
The essence of this sound is now available at a surprisingly low price, making it accessible to almost everyone.

The Golden Age Project PRE-73 DLX MKII provides a preamplification of up to 80dB gain.
In addition to +48V phantom power and polarity reversal, the preamp has a switchable filter (0, 50, 180, 160, 300Hz) and an optional frequency boost at 30kHz with a 3 or 6 dB boost.
In addition, the impedance can be switched between 1200 Ohm and 300 Ohm and an outpad pad with -7, -14, -21, -28 dB can be activated.

The microphone/line input and line output are both equipped with XLR/jack combo sockets, the Hi-Z input is designed as a jack.
The level can be read via the 5-stage LED meter.
