The Flock Audio Patch is a digitally controlled analogue patchbay with hardware and software components that allows you to control the routing of the equipment chain in your studio with unprecedented flexibility and recall – without patch cables! The hardware consists of a 64-pin analog patchbay in a rugged 1U chassis with D-SUB connectors on the back (DB-25). Patchbay assignments and routings are controlled via the Patch App, an easy-to-use Mac/Windows software that communicates with the Patchbay via USB. In Patch, no audio signals are converted to digital signals – all channels passing through the patchbay remain 100% in the analogue domain and only the patchbay routings are changed digitally. Patch gives you the advantages of both worlds – pure analogue audio with fully digital, computer-based control. This means that the routings of the Patch App can be saved and retrieved immediately.
