The PG-99 filter technology was installed to provide the connected devices with the best performance. This uses premium Panasonic and Wima capacitors due to their superior performance in eliminating high frequency noise that robs devices of peak performance. In tests, this has resulted in an average noise filtering of 99.7%, as opposed to the typical 85% found in other power supplies of the same price level.

The six outputs on the rear are switched, filtered and overvoltage-protected. They are combined into three groups (digital audio, analog audio and high current). The high current outputs are time-delayed and ensure that speakers and power amplifiers are always the last to be switched on and the first to be switched off. This prevents the well-known “crackling” that can occur when speakers and sound sources are supplied with power at the same time. The PG-1 Type F also has two filtered comfort outputs and an XLR lamp connection on the front.
