The Auteur has been a staple of preamps in studios around the world for many years. The USA-made preamp is powered by a 24V power supply and is the next step in perfecting the combination of vintage and modern sound at an affordable price.

Mic Preamp
The Auteur MKII is the second generation of the Auteur with lush preamps that capture every detail of the signal. It offers ultra-fast input stages, 65 dB of gain, a wider frequency response, and lower noise/distortion levels than its predecessor. It also offers all the great features of the original: dual-channel functionality, switchable 48V phantom power on each channel, phase switching, and a 10dB pad option for both channels. The Auteur MKII has XLR inputs and TRS outputs on channels 1 and 2 and is housed in a 1U, 1/2 rack enclosure.
