The Avantone “Cabernet (C-Series)” microphones are designed to deliver professional performance.
Equipped with high-quality polystyrene and metallized polypropylene capacitors in the audio path and Avantone’s proprietary 32mm capsule, the CK6+ features the components normally found only in modified or “hot rodded” microphones.

CONDENSER MICROPHONE

The new larger capsule combined with a transformerless circuit allows for an incredibly airy, open top end with a solid bottom end, making the CK6+ one of the most versatile microphones in its price segment.

The housing of the CK6+ has been milled from a single piece of brass to give the microphone a solid feel.
The supplied retro shock mount prevents unwanted vibrations from entering the microphone.
The CK-6+ has separate switches for -10dB attenuation and an 80Hz high-pass filter.
The -10dB attenuation switch can be activated when miking sources with very high sound pressure levels to avoid overloading the electronics.
The 80 Hz high-pass filter prevents unwanted low frequencies in the recording.
