Avantone AV10 MXO

Since Yamaha® discontinued the iconic NS10M, aftermarket component offerings have become increasingly expensive and less available. Avantone Pro has performed an exact reverse engineering of the original drivers. Using worldwide resources and decades of driver design experience, Avantone faithfully reverse-engineered the components while upgrading them for longer life.

Black housing. White cone. It’s not known as the best in the world – it’s known for being the best reference in the world. The AV10 MHF tweeter is an equal replacement for the original across the entire frequency range.

The AV10 MXO is a direct bolt-on replacement for the original crossover and is quick and easy to replace with minimal tools. The backplate is made of an upgraded aluminum for increased rigidity. This is accompanied by a replacement gasket to ensure a permanent airtight seal. The crossover is also shipped with cables and flat connectors connected. The rear terminal plate has been modified to use better quality binding posts for the best possible connection. The crossover uses the same capacitors as the original circuit – just with better material and higher power. The inductors exactly match the DC resistance, winding dimensions and values from the original.
