Since the 1970s, the name Auratone has been an established name in recording studio equipment. Countless hit productions were perfected using the small passive full-range loudspeakers 5C Super Sound Cubes, and it is impossible to imagine countless meter bridges without the much-loved sound cubes. After production was discontinued in 1990, the originals have been available again since 2015 – and are still very popular today. The concept of a minimalist loudspeaker that acts as a point source, bringing amazing transparency and spatiality as well as a helpful midrange focus to the production studio, remains as successful as ever.

The passive reference loudspeaker C5 Super Sound Cube is manufactured in the USA with high-quality components in the usual Auratone quality. The speaker is available in two visual versions. You can choose between the typical wood look with mahogany veneer or black with black veneer. Its uncomplicated handling and flexible positioning options make it easy to work with these speakers.

The linear 4.5″ full-range driver has good power handling even at high levels. Its frequency response ranges from 75Hz to 15kHz.
