With eight microphone preamps, the Pure Drive Octo offers the choice between the transparent Pure mode and the characterful Drive mode. In addition, an asymmetrical drive mode expands the sonic spectrum and opens up even more creative possibilities. These modes are ideal for capturing subtle details such as the nuances of a piano as well as creating powerful and warm sounds for drums, guitars or vocals.

An important advantage of the Pure Drive Octo is the absence of electromechanical components such as potentiometers or relays in the audio signal path. This increases reliability and ensures consistent performance across all eight channels. The digitally controlled analog circuits enable precise settings that can be reproduced at any time thanks to detented potentiometers and electronic switches. This makes the Pure Drive Octo an ideal tool for demanding productions where fast recall and absolute precision are required.
