The 023 delivers exceptional clarity, ease of use, and a full, balanced sound—regardless of placement or distance from the sound source. The built-in custom-designed S23 driver guarantees rich bass, well-defined mids, and detailed but not overemphasized highs.
As a result, the 023 is particularly well-suited for recording brighter instruments and vocals without sacrificing transients or detail. With louder sources such as electric guitar, kick drum, and bass amplifiers, it delivers a tight, full-bodied punch.

Handcrafted
Like all Soyuz microphones, the 023 is made entirely by hand: the housing and capsules are machined by hand, and the transducers are wound in Prague, Czech Republic. The unique character of the 023 comes from the triple back system, which differs from all other capsules in production.
