Eventide UltraTap | H9 Series Plug-In

Eventide UltraTap is a creative multi-tap delay plug-in for rhythmic delays, shimmering ambiences, dense reverb-like textures, and experimental sound design. The effect is based on Eventide’s UltraTap algorithm and expands upon classic delay concepts with flexible tap distribution, modulation, and performative control options.

With up to 64 delay taps, you can create precise rhythmic patterns, wide echo structures, slapbacks, swells, and spacious soundscapes. Using parameters such as Taps, Length, Slurm, Chop, and Spread, UltraTap can be scaled from clearly defined repeats to diffuse, dynamic, and almost reverb-like effects.

In addition to traditional delay applications, UltraTap is particularly well-suited for sound design, electronic music, guitars, synthesizers, vocals, drums, and film sound. Ribbon Control, Hotswitch, and Tempo Sync enable dynamic control in the mix, during automation, and in live-oriented productions.
