Eventide CrushStation | H9 Series Plug-In

Eventide CrushStation is a versatile stereo distortion plug-in from the H9 Series designed for saturation, overdrive, fuzz, aggressive sound design, and creative sound shaping. The effect is based on the CrushStation algorithm from the Eventide H9 Harmonizer and ranges from subtle warmth to massive, destructive distortion.

In addition to classic distortion, CrushStation offers a comprehensive effects section featuring a 3-band EQ, compression, Octave Mix, a gate, and the signature Sag control. This allows you to thicken weak drum tracks, add character to vocals, shape synthesizers to sound more aggressive, or make guitars and leads stand out more prominently in the mix.

The Sag parameter simulates the behavior of unstable or overloaded analog circuits and produces dynamic, unpredictable distortion patterns. With Ribbon Control and Hotswitch, CrushStation is also ideal for automation, transitions, and performative sound evolutions—ranging from controlled parallel saturation to extreme sound decay.
