Eventide Anthology XII: Everything Bundle of 32 Plugins

The Eventide Anthology XII Everything Bundle is a collection of 32 64-bit audio plug-ins for mixing, music production, beatmaking, vocal production, and sound design. The software bundle combines the latest Eventide signal processors with software emulations of classic studio gear from the company’s history. It includes equalizers, channel strips, dynamics processors, pitch shifters, harmonizer effects, delays, reverbs, modulation processors, distortion effects, and tools for temporal signal alignment.

Mixing tools include SplitEQ, Physion Mk II, Tverb, Octavox, Quadravox, and UltraReverb. SplitEQ uses Eventide’s Transient/Tonal technology to separate audio signals into transient and tonal components, which can then be processed independently. Physion Mk II uses the same signal separation within a multi-effect architecture. Tverb emulates a triple-reverb configuration developed by Tony Visconti with movable virtual microphone positions. Octavox and Quadravox provide diatonic pitch shifters with eight and four voices, respectively. UltraReverb combines nine different reverb algorithms in a single reverb processor.

The Creative FX section includes Blackhole, CrushStation, Crystals, MangledVerb, MicroPitch, Rotary Mod, ShimmerVerb, Spring, TriceraChorus, UltraTap, and Undulator. Among other things, the Eventide Anthology XII Bundle includes spacious algorithmic reverbs, pitch and micro-pitch effects, overdrive and distortion, Leslie-style rotary modulation, spring reverb, tri-stereo chorus, multi-tap delay, and modulated tremolo. UltraTap combines multi-tap delay with reverb and modulation functions, while Undulator generates time-based delay and modulation effects. CrushStation and MangledVerb combine distortion with additional effects and sound-shaping functions.

The classic emulations included in the Anthology XII Everything Bundle feature the H3000 Factory Mk II and H3000 Band Delays Mk II, as well as the H910 Harmonizer, H910 Dual Harmonizer, H949 Harmonizer, and H949 Dual Harmonizer. The H3000 Factory Mk II translates the pitch-shift, delay, reverb, and modulation functions of the Eventide H3000 into a software plug-in. The H3000 Band Delays Mk II provides eight filtered delay bands. The H910 and H949 versions are each included as single and dual harmonizers.

Other classic processors include the Omnipressor, Instant Phaser Mk II, Instant Flanger Mk II, and SP2016 Reverb. The Omnipressor is a dynamics processor with sidechain support. Instant Phaser Mk II and Instant Flanger Mk II are based on early Eventide studio effects for phasing and flanging. SP2016 Reverb includes the Room, Stereo Room, and Hi-Density Plate algorithms.

For channel and frequency processing, Eventide Anthology XII also includes UltraChannel, EChannel, EQ45, EQ65, and Precision Time Align. UltraChannel is a channel strip with equalization, dynamics, and time processing. EChannel offers a more compact channel strip architecture. EQ45 and EQ65 are based on the parametric equalizer and filter designs of the Urei 545 and Urei 565, respectively. Precision Time Align is used to align multiple audio signals in time.

Across all included plug-ins, there are more than 4,500 presets available, including artist presets. The plug-ins in the included H9 Series feature Eventide’s RIBBON control, which allows you to adjust multiple effect parameters simultaneously and create smooth transitions between two parameter states.

Eventide Anthology XII is available as downloadable software for Windows and macOS. On Windows, the bundle supports the 64-bit plug-in formats AAX, VST2, and VST3. On macOS, it supports AAX, Audio Units, VST2, and VST3 in 64-bit. Eventide specifies Windows 10 on x64 systems and macOS 10.14 on Intel and Apple Silicon computers as the minimum requirements.

Licensing is handled through the iLok system. An iLok account is required, but a physical iLok USB dongle is not needed. Eventide specifies compatibility with various DAW hosts and has tested the plug-ins with Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, and Reaper, among others.
